We are always pleased to see you!

Am I A Carer?

You are a Carer if you provide unpaid regular and substantial help and support to a partner, relative, friend or neighbour, who could not manage without their help. This could be due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or learning and/or physical disability.

Our priorities are to:

  • Provide the information & support carers need
  • Helping carers to have a voice in planning services and to challenge decisions
  • Reaching out to new carers to ensure they get the support they are entitled to
We were delighted to welcome Mayor Biggs to the Carers Centre to meet with carers and to launch the Carers’ Dignity Charter.
